Which students can set up Proxy Access?
Any student who has access to the Ranger Portal account has the ability to set up Proxy access.
How do I login to Proxy?
As a Proxy, you will receive two separate emails; one containing the username, and the other containing the password (see “Emails” section).
Once you have received your login credentials, you can click the “Ranger Portal” link within the email to easily access the login page. Enter the provided username and password, and click “Sign In”. You will need to update your password upon sign in.
How do I add a Proxy?
After you establish a Proxy account, the Proxy user will receive email instructions on how to access the Ranger Portal for Proxy Access (see “Emails” section).
To add a Proxy, you can select from the dropdown menu.
You may see a pre-populated list of proxies already associated with your account, either by your disclosure or disclosure on a related application. You also have the opportunity to grant access to a new user who is not specified on this list.
When a Proxy receives access to multiple students' records, am I able to set-up different levels of access?
Yes. Each student who grants Proxy access has complete control over the access of their account, including who is granted Proxy access, the start and stop dates of each Proxy account, and permission levels.
Can the Proxy update my student information?
No. Proxies can only view the student information you have authorized. They cannot make updates to information such as your permanent address.
What if I no longer want a Proxy to have access?
From the “User Options” main menu, under “Active Proxies,” you will see your Proxy listed.
Under active Proxies, you will see the option to modify or remove access. Be sure to save once modifications are complete.
